Lindsey Tomlinson - Director

Lindsey Tomlinson is of mixed Anishinabek and Icelandic heritage, with family roots in Whitefish River First Nation and Assiginack Township on Manitoulin Island, as well as among Icelandic settlers in Canada. A dedicated community advocate, Lindsey has worked in youth social services for over 25 years, supporting young people and families through a wide range of programs and initiatives.

 

Lindsey brings significant experience as a Housing and Community Engagement Worker in Indigenous housing, where she has focused on building relationships, strengthening community connections, and supporting culturally responsive housing services. As a long-time member of the Scarborough community, she is committed to advancing equity, inclusion, and opportunities for underserved populations.

 

Since becoming a Director in 2025, Lindsey has continued to apply her extensive experience, leadership, and community-focused approach to support organizational growth and positive social impact.
