Crystal Samms is Lenape from Munsee Delaware First Nation. The current Board Chair/President of Gabriel Dumont Non-Profit Homes (Metro Toronto) Inc. Where she lived as a young child.

Crystal has worked in the Urban Indigenous Non-Profit Community in Toronto for the past 8 years. She is the current Secretary for TASSC (Toronto Aboriginal Support Services Council) for the past 2 years. Crystal also sits on the Toronto District School Board's - Urban Indigenous Community Advisory Committee.

Crystal has a strong passion for Housing the Indigenous community in Toronto paired with supportive resources that decolonize and support the pathways to self-determination for the betterment of our culture, spirits and wellbeing (Miino Bimadziwiin).
